Naas Musical Society present 9 to 5 The Musical!

Three unlikely friends take control of their office and learn that there is nothing they can’t do…..even in a man’s world! Pushed to boiling point, three female coworkers concoct a plan to get even with the sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot they call their boss. In a hilarious turn of events, these three powerhouses live out their wildest fantasy - giving their boss, Mr. Hart, the boot! While Hart remains “otherwise engaged”, the women give their workplace a dream makeover, taking control of the company that had always kept them down. Will the ladies manage to reform their office - or will events unravel when the CEO pays an unexpected visit?

Inspired by the 1980’s smash hit movie, with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton herself. Set in the late 1970’s, this hilarious story of friendship and revenge is outrageous, and even a little bit romantic. This show is about teaming up, standing up and taking care of business! Naas Musical Society are very proud to bring this toe-tapping, hilarious show to the Moat Theatre.

Starring Julie Donnelly, Claire O’Reilly, Niamh O’Carroll, Gill O’Brien and Andrew Docherty to name but a few, alongside a fabulous chorus, you are sure to be dancing in your seats. Under the guidance of Director Sharon McNamara, Choreographer Grace McGrath and Musical Maestro Maireád McKenna it promises to be a fantastic night’s entertainment. And you never know Ms. Dolly Parton herself might make an appearance…
